As I blog about markets only, I have hard times to get the essence of the markets I visit. Your photo describes very well the essence of this market, even though I would have hard times to describe it. What I see is the lady at the left going home to probably prepare food and the vendor family on the right side looking for new customers. I wonder how the photo would affect me if it was in colour instead of black & white.
Thanks.
I appreciate your feedback. Living in a place where I see public/wet markets on a daily basis, I see the starkness of black & white being more eye catching than in color when I’m trying to focus on an individual(s), unless there is a wider variety of fruits and vegetables to make the image more colorful and the subject is not so much the people in it. Thanks!
