Long before the supermarkets open up, the streets are where you go to get your fresh meats, fish, fruit and vegetables. As the sun comes up, these vendors go about the daily business of earning a living. There are all kinds of food sellers found here in Manila – from push cart vendors going down the side of the road loaded with provisions to a vendor with nothing more than a few umbrellas and a spot on the ground to lay out her goods…

Be sure to go early.
