This photoblog is about sharing the life images of people and places captured through my lens.
I currently live in the Philippines, and the majority of the scenes documented will originate from here, as there are 7,107 islands in the Philippines and I have yet to see more than a few of them. But there will also be images from other places that I travel to, including return visits to my native country, the United States.
Capturing the culture, the essence, and a sense of reality is the goal of this photo blog.
No words.
These are people living in their everyday lives. These are images of life.

I hope you enjoy the journey seen through my eyes.
Hi, I was recently been nominated for a pass-it-forward style Blogging Recognition Award, and I have nominated your blog in response. There is no pressure to follow up on it – I just thought I’d share my enjoyment of your blog with others. You can find the link to my nominations here: http://travelosio.com/2015/08/03/travelosio-receives-another-recognition/ or the original award here: http://eveofnight.blogspot.com.au/2014/10/lets-celebrate-whos-up-for-award.html. The people in the Philippine are wonderful. My wife and I spent a month in Baguio City. Best with all of your photography.

you just have to watch out for their version of bombing your photo (which is not the same as photobombing – its a pose they like to strike which is not natural)…

some great captures you have on your blog. Just curious, how do you click images? phone or mirror-less camera?

All of my images were shot with a DSLR. I keep my use of phone shots to a minimum and only post them on social media (Facebook/Instagram). In the last year I switched from only using my Nikon to rotate between Nikon and a mirrorless Fuji.
